COMPATIBILITY

The VBT002 is a great replacement for a wide range of 6-string electric guitars with a tremolo setup, especially Les Paul and Gibson SG Guitars.

VBT002 INSTALLATION:

1. Remove strings and tailpiece screws from your original bridge.
2. Open the electronics cavity at the back of your guitar and check where your ground cable is coming from.
3. Lock the plate onto the frame using the screws.
4. Identify the correct position for your maestro.
5. Remove the small screws from your maestro.
6. Align the frame in the correct position and mark the upper two holes.
7. Identify how deep the drill bits should go before drilling the holes. Do the same for the smaller screws.
8. Drill down and install the maestro in place with the screws.
9. Make sure the tailpiece is not touching the ground bushing or you’ll have to drill another hole for a new ground.
10. Reattach your strings.

CARE TIPS:

1. Clean your maestro vibrola regularly to remove dirt, grime, and residue. Use a soft cloth or a mild cleaning solution specifically designed for instrument maintenance. Avoid using abrasive cleaners that could damage the finish or components of the bridge.

2. Apply a small amount of lubricant, such as guitar or instrument-specific lubricant, to the moving parts of the bridge, such as pivot points. This helps to ensure smooth operation and prevent excess friction.

3. Periodically inspect your  maestro vibrola for any loose or worn-out parts. Tighten any loose screws or bolts as necessary. If you notice significant wear or damage, consider contacting a professional guitar technician for repairs or replacements.

4. As much as possible, store your guitar in a suitable case or controlled environment when not in use.
